Rosalind Reed Associates creates unique landscape environments for residential and commercial clients. After an initial client meeting, a proposal is issued describing the scope of services and fee arrangements.

Typical steps in the design process include site assessment, determination of regulatory issues, and preparation of concept plans. After agreeing on the design concept, the design process continues with preparation of budgets, obtaining bids from landscape and other trade contractors, providing on-site supervision of the installation, and reviewing invoices.

Design ideas are communicated through hand-drawn renderings, elevations, sketches, photographs, web page portal, and visits to see plant material and relevant hardscape installations, as required. Upon completion of the landscape concept plan, computer-generated plans and specifications are prepared.

Completed landscape projects cover a diverse range of site and design challenges, including:

Over 100 rooftop and container gardens

Naturalized and prairie installations in rural retreats

Paving, patios, masonry walls, outdoor fireplaces

Water features including swimming pools, spas, naturalized ponds, and recirculating fountains

Outdoor dining rooms, decks, gazebos, arbors and fences

Landscape lighting, including low voltage, line voltage and fiber optic
